Did anybody notice the covered logos throughout Las Vegas? It shouldn't surprise anybody on schedule release day that it would be none other than the Vegas Golden Knights celebrating their 10th season in the NHL. Man, the time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it? But that's not the noteworthy thing that fans are clamoring about.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have an NHL schedule. The Vegas Golden Knights will have plenty of noteworthy dates for fans, starting on September 29 against the Chicago Blackhawks. But that's not the only big date that Golden Knights fans should look out for.

The Golden Knights also have a Stadium Series game against the Dallas Stars in the world's biggest content mill, AT&T Stadium. That's right, dear reader. Jerryworld will see two teams familiar with making the semifinal round and even making the championship round.

So, let's look at the schedule being dropped and see what's up. What stands out from the Vegas Golden Knights having their 2026-27 schedule out in the open? What's the one big reunion date that Golden Knights fans should watch out for? Better hop on Kayak or Expedia because it's time to plan some trips, dear reader!

The annual Nevada Day game will pit the Vegas Golden Knights against the New Jersey Devils

October 30 will feature the annual Nevada Day game for the Vegas Golden Knights. It'll pit the Golden Knights against the New Jersey Devils. Las Vegas will get some Hughes brother action (sans Quinn) and see plenty of Swiss players as well.

Overall, the Golden Knights haven't been exactly dominant on this day. They hold an all-time record of 3-3-2 with a blowout loss thrown into the mix. That was against the Colorado Avalanche in 2019, when Vegas lost by a score of 6-1.

The Vegas Golden Knights will reunite with Pavel Dorofeyev at T-Mobile Arena on March 13

After Pavel Dorofeyev was traded to the New York Rangers during the NHL Draft, fans were wondering when the reunion date would be at T-Mobile Arena. They were hoping to give him a nice standing ovation for his services as a former Golden Knight.

That date happens to be March 13 on a Saturday. Of course, the Golden Knights will reunite with Dorofeyev on March 7. But the home date will give fans a chance to stand up and cheer for his services on that Saturday.

The Golden Knights don't have any five-game road trips

The big problem with last season's schedule was that the Golden Knights would come home tired. They'd have a five-game East Coast trip that would drain them, leaving them limping back to T-Mobile Arena. But the 84-game schedule offers them a reprieve in the form of the four-game road trip.

The Golden Knights will see such trips five times during the 2026-27 season, giving them plenty of relief. Vegas does get two five-game homestands, which will swing heavily in their favor. It's good to be the Western Conference king.
