It's time to dispel a few notions, dear reader. Hockey traditionalists will boast about the amazing atmosphere of Montreal, Toronto, and Boston. Yes, those are definitely true. But there's a new hockey revolution hitting the scene: Sun Belt hockey.

That's right. You're looking at a Vegas Golden Knights Stanley Cup Final against the Carolina Hurricanes. Two hockey markets that nobody thought would ever exist in their lifetimes facing off against each other in the Stanley Cup Final. How funny life can be at times, eh?

Of course, there's plenty of history with both teams. You know about the Carolina Hurricanes moving from Hartford and taking the Brass Bonanza with them. They had a Stanley Cup in their lifetime, vanquishing the evil Edmonton Oilers in 2006. Obviously, you know about the Golden Knights, who have a Stanley Cup of their own and made the playoffs every season except one.

So, you know what time it is. It's time to go over another practice, only with the day being Saturday and City National Arena being jam-packed (literally). Here's what Golden Knights fans saw and what they did during the weekend. Let's get the Stanley Cup and bring it home!

Las Vegas is a hockey city and you can't change my mind

I entered City National Arena on a random Saturday, expecting peace and quiet. Okay, not really, since there was a DJ outside of the practice facility. But I was astonished to see a long line of people waiting to enter the practice. Check this out.

Look at how long that line is! People said that hockey wouldn't work in the desert, yet they were proven wrong. The attendance capacity numbers prove this, showing that a consistent team like the Golden Knights can bring in a huge crowd.

Jeremy Lauzon is still in a red no-contact jersey

Out since May 1st, Jeremy Lauzon hasn't seen much action on the ice. He endured an injury that kept him out of the entire second round and the Western Conference Final. Friday saw him return to the ice in a red no-contact jersey.

It seems that nothing has changed with Lauzon, for he was still in that red no-contact jersey. Still, he shouldn't be too far off from returning, adding a physical presence to the blue line. That will help in more ways than one against a solid Carolina Hurricanes team that will rush you to death.

The Golden Knights look fresh from a forward perspective

Mitch Marner attacks down the line in a rush and scores on Adin Hill. The crowd goes wild. Pavel Dorofeyev follows suit and buries a wrister past Hill, with the crowd going wild. William Karlsson does the same thing and scores on the former Stanley Cup hero. Crowd goes wild.

The forward group looks terrific on the rush, cashing in on their high-danger chances. That's something that the Golden Knights will need in the Stanley Cup Final, considering that Frederik Andersen has been electric this postseason. The Danish netminder has a GAA of 1.41, a save percentage of .931, and three shutouts. That will be a problem for the Golden Knights, especially if they don't get those high-danger chances.
