It's no secret that Las Vegas is one of the most exciting American cities around. It's better than, say, living in a cold place like Detroit and Toronto. You have countless entertainment options at your feet and can even get away from the snow during the winter.
That's no different from the latest BonusFinder study, which has Las Vegas at the top of the hierarchy. The study consisted of seven categories: budget hotel, sports bars, bars and clubs, casinos, amusement parks, water parks, and adrenaline and extreme tours. The maximum score possibly received in the study was 70.
The study took all 27 NBA and NHL playoff cities, finding that Las Vegas scored 38.22 out of 70, the highest in the study. It's the only city that led in both casino access (129 listed) and adrenaline tours.
Las Vegas was the only city in the study with triple-digits in the TripAdvisor-listed casinos category. In fact, it wasn't even close in this stat, with the second-place city (Houston) only having seven. Las Vegas also had 234 adrenaline and extreme tours, more than any playoff city and nearly 100 more than the second-place city, Miami (142).
Las Vegas also had 59 sports bars, which was second to New York's 96. Luciano Passavanti, the Senior Gambling News Editor at BonusFinder, said the following about Las Vegas's ranking.
"Las Vegas is the only city in America where the casino is actually part of the sporting experience. You can watch the game, walk out of the arena, and be at a blackjack table in under five minutes. That combination of sports and gambling culture is unique, and it's exactly what visiting fans are looking for."Luciano Passavanti
I mean, it's no mystery that the Golden Knights play in one of the most entertaining cities in North America. It's what gives them an unprecedented advantage in the sports realm. That could come in handy for the 2026 playoff run, when the lights are turned on bright at T-Mobile Arena.
