Remember when we talked about the 10th anniversary logo for the Vegas Golden Knights? Some people hated it since it brought up traumatic memories of AI and its overwhelming power and presence. But it was more of people just hating on something because it's cool to hate something.

Anyway, the Golden Knights incorporated that logo into the newest center-ice logo. It's an annual tradition to reveal the center-ice logo, highlighting the various themes associated with Vegas. This year's logo didn't disappoint in the eyes of the average Las Vegas local.

You'll notice a roulette wheel surrounding the center-ice logo, marking a Las Vegas tradition found within the very casinos. Imagine taking a gamble and placing a bet on where a spinning puck would land. It would incorporate Las Vegas's longstanding tradition of entertainment with a growing new staple: hockey.

But here are some personal thoughts about the new center-ice logo. I'm going to warn you that these thoughts are similar to the ones about the 10th anniversary logo. So, don't be too surprised if you see certain similarities in terms of public opinion on a personal front. Anyway, let's dive into the thoughts and see what's inside.

My personal thoughts on the Vegas Golden Knights' 10th anniversary logo

I'm going to be 100% honest with you. I don't see too much of a problem with the Golden Knights' center-ice logo. As mentioned, it represents Las Vegas culture perfectly and highlights the deep history shared with the casinos. You have the roulette wheel that sets the outer rim of the logo, making it fit in perfectly with the city's reputation.

But you also see that with the 10th anniversary logo itself. You also see black and red within the logo, combining with the gold and white. In turn, it creates a fantastic vibe that showcases class and appeal to the average fan.

Yes, there are some people that will dog it because it looks like AI. However, the logo itself represents the colorful nature that Las Vegas has as a city. The lights, the neon, the flashy colors, and the vibrant shapes... It constitutes a city that's the center of the entertainment industry.

But there's one other thing that fans must remember. Such logos are temporary and aren't forever. In fact, teams generally change the center-ice logos to reflect new sponsors or even team anniversaries like the Golden Knights have this season.

Fans shouldn't think too much about the new logo that appears on the ice for the upcoming season. They should be thinking about superstars like Mark Stone and Tomas Hertl skating through the center-ice logo to score a goal. Furthermore, they should be thinking about the team hoisting Lord Stanley on said logo once more.

After all, the only thing that matters is the logo on the front of the jersey. It's no wonder that players like Pavel Dorofeyev and Marc-Andre Fleury have been traded in controversial moves. However, the Golden Knights have been fine after such moves, so maybe it isn't so bad.
