For me, that meant Detroit Red Wings hockey was near. Back in my day (gosh, I sound so freaking old now), they were actually good and even rattled off four Stanley Cups during my school days. Now? They're looking to hold onto Dylan Larkin, despite the Olympic gold medalist wanting out.
But we're not here to talk about the Red Wings. No, Vegas Golden Knights fans are blessed to avoid the cold Michigan winters. Instead, we're here to discuss Golden Knights hockey and talk about the past week. So here's what happened in that week as a little back-to-school gift!

So, we talked about the 10th anniversary logo being unveiled for the Vegas Golden Knights. Some people didn't like it since it gave off AI vibes that the fans couldn't shake. Well, let me introduce you to the center-ice logo that will appear at T-Mobile Arena for the 2026-27 season.

Believe it or not, it fits the Las Vegas vibe perfectly fine. You have a roulette wheel that serves as the outer rim. It encases the 10th anniversary logo that sits front and center, making it the ultimate Vegas nod.
Just remember, guys. The logo will change as it does every year.
Jonathan Marchessault and his records come into focus
As part of FanSided's "theme week", we focused on the various records set by the Golden Knights. That included Jonathan Marchessault, who is currently the best offensive player in Golden Knights history.
However, there are plenty of threats that loom large. For example, Jack Eichel is the biggest threat for the Conn Smythe winner's points record. You also have players like Mark Stone and Tomas Hertl vying for Marchessault's all-time power play goals record. So many options to deal with. Speaking of records...
Marc-Andre Fleury's various records also come into play
Marc-Andre Fleury is the ultimate Golden Knights goaltender. He holds various all-time franchise records, including GAA, save percentage, and shutouts. The question remains: who can demolish his records and which marks aren't touchable?
Currently, certain marks will remain untouchable (see the shutouts mark). However, the Golden Knights do have some goaltending talent waiting in the wings. Think of names such as Pavel Moisevich, Cameron Whitehead and Carl Lindbom. Watch for some records to fall with the Goldne Knights' netminders soon.
