Wednesday "Knight" wisdom about... foot baths

The Vegas Golden Knights might use foot baths to improve their on-ice performance. They might not. But you should do this for yourself.

Last Sunday, I got a Foot Detox Bath from Amazon. As a Vegas Golden Knights fan, I'm going to need it because there will be plenty of toxic moments in 2025-26. It doesn't matter if it's other fan bases chirping in your ears or players getting hurt.

2025-26 is going to be nasty. How nasty?

I'm talking about putting your feet in the bath and soaking for 30 minutes and seeing rusty-colored debris popping up. Add in some white foam and it looks like it came from a broken-down auto plant.

Of course, there were some hiccups along the way. For one, I put too much sea salt in the bath! How in the world is it supposed to work if it's as salty as the Atlantic Ocean? There's no way you're getting those nasty toxins out of your body!

But that didn't stop me from getting it and using it! Just dump the water out and try again. Still, there's an important lesson to learn from getting rid of all nasty fluids from your body, particularly with the Golden Knights. What must Golden Knights fans learn from this aside from paying $70 to soak your feet to dump those toxins?

What Vegas Golden Knights fans can learn from getting... a foot bath?

One thing to learn about getting something new is incorporating it into your daily routines. I got the foot bath to make a healthy change to my life. I wanted to cleanse my liver, gall bladder, and other body parts to live longer and feel better.

Lo and behold, I feel much better after using it. My liver doesn't want to strangle me and I feel lighter and more agile. On top of that, my heart thanks me because I'm not carrying so many poisonous substances in my body.

Who knows? Maybe this is something the Golden Knights do every week. They might soak their feet in a foot bath because it helps them on the ice. All those poisons and toxins might be hindering your joints and muscles from competing at the highest level, after all.

The moral of the story? Take care of yourself. Pick up a soccer ball from Amazon and have fun. Mostly, get a foot bath and take care of yourself at home.
