25 seconds. That's what it took Mark Stone to have the Vegas Golden Knights finally snap a four-game losing streak against the Los Angeles Kings. It took Eichel on his belly to fire to an open Stone by the bumper to finally snap that wretched streak. On top of that, the Golden Knights won, 3-2, and extended their winning streak to five games.

Hey, you had to make up for the earlier icing. Might as well set up the winning goal in style, right, Jack Eichel?

But Stone wasn't the only Golden Knights star who had a great game. Eichel had the Hollywood treatment himself, notching three assists. Mitch Marner added a power-play goal on four shots, helping him prepare for a reunion game on Thursday with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Heck, even the Captain had an assist to go with his goal!

First, it feels great to get the proverbial monkey off your back. Whenever you lose four straight games to a division rival, you're looking for anything to stop the bleeding. Mind you, Brandt Clarke put a good scare into the Golden Knights with a jammed-in goal in the third period. With Darcy Kuemper pulled, the game was suddenly tied and life got more hectic.

That's not even mentioning that Kevin Fiala had a goal and an assist. The Kings' forward was flying across the ice all night, making life hard for the Golden Knights. Still, the four-game losing streak is as dead as the Chargers and Vegas finally has the upper hand.

But let's focus on two stars that stood out for the Golden Knights on Wednesday. Who got the red carpet treatment and stymied Los Angeles?

Braeden Bowman comes alive for a hole-in-one goal for the Vegas Golden Knights

When you give Braeden Bowman all sorts of space in front of the net, you can expect the undrafted rookie to do some damage. That's exactly what he did in the second period, catching a feed from Eichel to put the Golden Knights up, 1-0.

Mind you, this is the same Bowman who got a hole-in-one earlier in the week. You can say that this week has been excellent for the rookie, who ended his 18-game goalless streak.

Park him in front of the netminder and it's a mere chip-in. Fans are constantly comparing Bowman to Mark Stone, given that his on-ice intelligence and positioning are excellent. Wednesday's game showed what he could do, making him an excellent putt from close range.

Mitch Marner gets ready for his reunion game with a power play goal

You know, there's a reason why you acquire players like Mitch Marner. If you need someone to extend your winning streak to five games, you need another superstar to come on board and add some offense. Mix in some two-way magic and you have the perfect man for the job.

Marner showed why he's worth his $12 million AAV contract on Wednesday with a power play goal. Sliding around up front, the winger closed in and snapped one past Darcy Kuemper to give the Golden Knights a 2-1 lead. That's not even mentioning how strong his forechecking and two-way game were all night.

In turn, that goal snapped a four-game losing streak against the Los Angeles Kings. Again, there's a good reason why you acquire players like Marner. Wednesday's game was picture-perfect proof that he's a key piece. Maybe he'll finally get that Stanley Cup that he wanted.
