That was the case for Braeden Bowman, who's joining the Golden Knights. This comes after William Karlsson suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks.

Last season was also an impressive campaign for the young forward. He scored 14 goals and 22 assists, playing 68 games with the Silver Knights. Before that, he had an impressive run in the OHL, playing four seasons. Here, he scored 97 goals and 83 assists, even earning the designation of "Captain" for the Guelph Storm.

What can Golden Knights fans expect from Braeden Bowman as he makes the main roster?
