Lots of injury news to finish the week for the Vegas Golden Knights. Here's what stood out the most in the realm.

'Tis the season for players returning just in time, eh? The Vegas Golden Knights certainly know a thing or two about this, especially after they've lost key players like Mark Stone, William Karlsson, and Shea Theodore. You need your best players on the ice to go on a long Stanley Cup playoff run, you know?

That's why you can't afford to lose players like Jack Eichel. If you don't have your key guys, well, you're screwed.

Yes way. Can't lose Mark Stone to another spleen injury, you know?

But this week has been all about health. You know, you gotta take care of your spleens and livers. Those things don't last forever in our lifetimes, especially as you get older (believe me, I know). You want to treat your body like a temple and enjoy everything given to you.

So, let's go over the week that was in the realm and see who came back. Let's also see who was hurt and missing from action for the Golden Knights, shall we? You'd better eat your kale because it's good for you!

William Karlsson returns to the Vegas Golden Knights

At long last, the Original Misfit has returned. People have asked about his whereabouts and what he's been doing and the Golden Knights fans finally have an answer. William Karlsson has graced the people's presence after suffering a lower-body injury on November 8 against... the Anaheim Ducks.

The Misfit returns and provides a great all-around game for the Golden Knights. He's great on special teams and can play solid defense against the league's best scorers. While that's great news, there had to be a sacrifice made for him to return...

Jeremy Lauzon misses time with an undisclosed injury

Jeremy Lauzon missed the first two games of the second round with an injury. Essentially, this is your little sacrifice for having Karlsson return to the mix. Believe it or not, this is a bigger loss than people realize (kinda like Mark Stone heading down the tunnel during Game 3).

The Golden Knights need as much hitting to mitigate Anaheim's style as possible. The Ducks play a fast style like the Utah Mammoth and love hitting much more than Utah. Did I mention that they're also bigger than the Mammoth?

The Golden Knights are in a tense battle against the Anaheim Ducks

Entering Friday's crucial Game 3 against Anaheim, the Vegas Golden Knights looked like they were outplayed. We're talking about Anaheim doing the aforementioned hitting more than Vegas and even outshooting them. Luckily for Vegas, they entered Game 3 tied in the best-of-seven series against the Ducks. But hey, they responded in a big way with a 6-2 win on Friday!

Still, don't expect this to be an easy series. The Golden Knights will need all hands on deck to awaken the offense and put on the best defensive performance ever. After all, nobody likes to overstay their welcome at an overpriced amusement park.
