How sweep it is! The Vegas Golden Knights, aka the team with the best fanbase ever, took care of business and are heading to their third Stanley Cup Final. Taking care of teams like the Utah Mammoth, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Colorado Avalanche has put them in this position.

You can thank an array of names for putting them in this position. You can anger the Toronto Maple Leafs fans by thanking Mitch Marner. After all, the Canadian Olympian has been the NHL's playoff point leader for some time. You can also thank Jack Eichel because he works great from home.

Heck, you can go even further and thank Carter Hart. The goaltender has done immaculate work in the net, providing enough room for a Golden Knights comeback. All of this has led Vegas to another Stanley Cup Final, putting them in a position to anger the hockey universe again.

But let's go over the big week that was for the Golden Knights. Who will the Golden Knights face in the Stanley Cup Final? Who's returning for Vegas (or rather, moving one step further to returning)? It's time to pop the champagne because Vegas is a town for winners.

The Vegas Golden Knights sweep the Colorado Avalanche to advance to their third Stanley Cup Final appearance

Did you know that there hasn't been a Presidents' Trophy winner who also won the Stanley Cup in the same season since 2013? Even that season was shortened, putting a big ol' asterisk on that season (yes, Chicago Blackhawks fans might be mad here), thanks to a lockout.

That streak was extended on Tuesday as the Golden Knights finished off a resounding sweep, 2-1. Vegas took care of business, thanks to a constricting defensive structure and Carter Hart, preparing them for their next opponent.

The Vegas Golden Knights know who their Stanley Cup Final opponent will be

The Carolina Hurricanes routed the Montreal Canadiens on Friday, 6-1, to advance to the Stanley Cup Final. Like the Golden Knights, this will be their third Stanley Cup Final appearance. But this Hurricanes team is much more similar to the Colorado Avalanche team that the Golden Knights faced before them.

Carolina enters the Stanley Cup Final with a 12-1 playoff record, going on a near-unstoppable run. If the Golden Knights want to win their second Stanley Cup, there's no better time than now for vanquishing a hot opponent and stealing their momentum.

Jeremy Lauzon returns to Golden Knights practice in a red no-contact jersey

The Vegas Golden Knights got a sight for sore eyes on Friday. They witnessed Jeremy Lauzon skating at City National Arena in a red no-contact jersey. The defenseman has been out of commission since May 1st, leaving a void on the blue line.

But what do the Golden Knights do with said blue line if he returns? Who comes out for the former Nashville Predator in this scenario? That's the big question for John Tortorella as he prepares for the Hurricanes.
