I know it's late at night and the NFL games have finished for today. However, there is some good news for Vegas Golden Knights fans. In case you haven't heard, Noah Hanifin is expected to make his return on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings.

That's good news for a Golden Knights team that's seen its fair share of injuries. First, Mark Stone suffers a wrist injury that leaves him out of commission until no earlier than November 15. There's also the absence of Adin Hill and Colton Sissons, which has hampered the overall depth of Vegas.
Still, the latest news is inspiring for someone who had 10 goals and 29 assists last season. Add 106 blocked shots to the mix and you have a solid addition to the blue line. In fact, his last three seasons have seen him post more than 100 blocked shots. That's impressive work for a workhorse defenseman.
Reinforcements are on the way for the Vegas Golden Knights, starting with Noah Hanifin
Noah Hanifin is one of a few Vegas Golden Knights expected to return later in the month. Stone is expected back when the Golden Knights play in St. Louis on November 15. Colton Sissons was also back on Sunday's practice in a no-contact jersey. That's great news for a Golden Knights team gearing up for a challenging home gauntlet.
When you're facing teams like the upstart Detroit Red Wings and the defending champions, the Florida Panthers, you need as many reinforcements as you can get. That means stabilizing your blue line with guys like Hanifin, adding size and clogging lanes. With these reinforcements, you're closer to having a complete team.
Of course, it's trickier when injuries are involved because they're unpredictable. In fact, they're like life itself. You don't know when they'll strike and hamper your team. Suddenly, you've gone from being a championship contender to being on the fringe.
Thankfully, the NHL season is longer than the NFL season. You're here to play a full 82 games (soon to be 84) rather than 17. It all starts with one player returning to get the ball rolling. That man could be none other than Noah Hanifin.
