Vegas Golden Knights fans have it made. They can have the coolest watch parties from literally the coolest places, enjoying spectacular views from poolside. It also helps that the Golden Knights are typically Stanley Cup contenders, boasting some of the NHL's best rosters around.
That was the experience for Vegas Hockey Knight on a random Friday. There was a hockey game involving the Golden Knights and the Utah Mammoth on Friday and fans were packing Stadium Swim for a spectacle. Mind you, this was a Stanley Cup playoff game, so this was BIG business.
Anyways, the Golden Knights were hosting a free watch party there, where fans could get in free if they wore a... Golden Knights jersey. Makes sense since this is the Stanley Cup playoffs we're talking about here. You'd better show up supporting the team or else you're paying an arm and a leg for a watch party.
So, how did it work out? Was the experience as terrific and fun as expected, or was it trouble in paradise? Let's go through the experience and give it a good grade (or bad). Funny enough, this was the viewing experience we wanted a couple of years ago, before it got rained out (true story).
What was the Stadium Swim experience like as a Vegas Golden Knights fan?
Overall, the experience was pleasant. Stadium Swim had a viewing board bigger than that of a starter home. We're talking about multiple screens, where you can watch your favorite team play and the team(s) you bet on. Be sure to pull up to a chair and pick up a drink because the experience is as electric as the Rock's entrance!
Of course, there's also the poolside experience that makes for an electric time. Here, you can chill while the Golden Knights (or insert other favorite teams here) play on the big screen, enjoying the beautiful weather in the process. Again, it's a sports fan's literal heaven, where you can bet on sports, drink (and eat!), and enjoy the beautiful sports and weather.
You also had the Vegas Vivas performing, along with Lee Orchard, the Vegas Belles, and the Drumline. All of this culiminated into an unforgettable experience that felt similar to the games at T-Mobile Arena. What more could you ask for if you were a Vegas Golden Knights fan?
The only complaint to be had was the Golden Knights losing in Game 3. That put a damper on the overall mood for the night for Golden Knights fans in attendance. I mean, do you want to see your team go down 4-0 and fall short of the comeback? Certainly, I wouldn't, which makes things 10 times worse.
Still, you should definitely check out the experience if you're a Golden Knights fan. It's worth seeing a poolside version of the team's entertainment side. That's especially true when it's the Stanley Cup playoffs and you're looking for an authentic experience. At Stadium Swim, it simply can't be beat.
