Although the Vegas Golden Knights opened the 2026-27 season with a 5-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday night, that game took place in September. None of those points, including three from Jack Eichel, will count toward their respective October totals. Heading into Friday’s contest against the Anaheim Ducks, if Eichel continues his hot streak, he could climb to second or first on this list. Who’s he chasing for the top spot? Let’s find out.

Golden Knights all-time leading scorers in October

Chandler Stephenson - 25 points

Former Vegas center Chandler Stephenson is the only player on this list who didn’t appear in at least 30 games in October. In only 28 contests, he racked up 25 points with 10 goals and 15 assists. Moreover, he leads the Golden Knights in game-winning goals in October with five, but Eichel and Karlsson enter the month with four apiece and could challenge his franchise record.

Reilly Smith - 39 points

During Reilly Smith’s two stints with the Golden Knights, he collected 39 points in 66 games in October. With 19 goals, he ranks fourth and is the next-closest skater to 20 goals, a mark achieved by only three players. Meanwhile, he scored three shorthanded goals in the month, finishing second behind Karlsson, who has four.

Shea Theodore - 42 points

Few players have been as consistently reliable for the Golden Knights as Shea Theodore. He currently ranks second all-time in October games played, with 76, three behind Karlsson. With 32 assists, he is one of only four players to record more than 30 in the month, but with over 1,700 minutes logged, he is the franchise leader in that category.

Jonathan Marchessault - 43 points

As the only player in Golden Knights history to win the Conn Smythe, Jonathan Marchessault was remarkably balanced in October. In 62 October games, he scored 21 goals and added 22 assists, becoming one of five players to surpass 40 points in the month. Currently, his 21 goals rank second all-time behind Karlsson, but several players like Eichel and Mark Stone are within striking distance.

Jack Eichel - 55 points

Pegged by many to become the first player to score 100 points in a single season for the Golden Knights, Eichel has the third-most October points in franchise history. In only 42 games, he’s scored 18 goals and 37 assists for 55 points. He also has four game-winners and is tied with Marchessault for the most even-strength goals at 16. At 1.31 points per game, Eichel leads all players in this category.

William Karlsson - 59 points

As an Original Misfit who has been with Vegas since night one, it’s no surprise to see Karlsson near the top of this list. He had a career year in 2017-18 and has been a key forward in the team’s multiple trips to the Stanley Cup Final. In 79 October games, the franchise record, the Swede has 59 points, with 23 goals and 36 assists. He’s also the only skater with four shorthanded goals in the month, giving him a chance to top at least one category.

Mark  Stone - 67 points

The long-time captain of the Golden Knights is also their best performer in October. In only 53 games, he’s already scored 20 goals and produced a record 47 assists for 67 points. Meanwhile, he’s fired only 122 shots on goal, which ranks sixth all-time, but he’s averaged 1.26 points per game in the month and trails only Eichel in this category.
