You know, I was taking an hour nap before WrestleMania 42 started. I was hoping for some certified bangers that would get me ready for the Vegas Golden Knights before Game 1 against the Utah Mammoth. Well, did that happen or was it absolute botchamania?
Perhaps the best match of the night was Seth Rollins vs. Gunther. It was an array of solid spots and great technical wrestling, making it the highlight of the night. Of course, that's what Seth Rollins is used to doing, for he's the Mitch Marner of the WWE.
I mean, why was Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer so quick? It's almost as fast as the Golden Knights when they allowed the first goal under Bruce Cassidy this season. Still, there were some good matches, such as Jacob Fatu vs. Drew McIntyre. You love to see those matches pop up in an impressive fashion.
Here's hoping that Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk tears the house down with the rest of the card. Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar will be like the Edmonton Oilers vs. the Vegas Golden Knights whenever they face off in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Two heavyweights with loads of star power that are ready to rumble.
And don't forget about Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams, too! That's like the current first round matchup between the Golden Knights and the Mammoth. The two teams have plenty of firepower to boot. Man, all of this is getting me hyped for Game 1 tomorrow!
