Why Toshiba Plaza is where all the Golden Knights postseason magic happens

If you're not able to get into T-Mobile Arena for a Vegas Golden Knights playoff game, Toshiba Plaza is a great alternative. Here's why.

You're heading to T-Mobile Arena for a key Vegas Golden Knights game. You want to see Jack Eichel create some magic on the ice and lead Vegas to another Stanley Cup.

Sounds good, right? After all, everyone else is flooding New York New York like there's a prize fight in town. However, there's a small catch.

You don't have tickets to the game.

I know! That sounds disastrous. You can't see the boys in gold try to win a Stanley Cup. That's no fun if you can't see them live.

But there are some good reasons for that. Ticket prices are going up (along with literally anything else) and you don't want to take out a mortgage out for a single playoff game. After all, you have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

Still, all isn't lost. You get to hang out at Toshiba Plaza! You can make new friends here and high-five random strangers you don't know. Who doesn't love drinking orange juice with vodka on a hot day in May (Rhymes Like Dimes!) or June?

There are plenty of reasons why Toshiba Plaza is just as good as hanging out inside T-Mobile Arena. Are you ready to party, dear reader? It's time to get lit up in here!

What makes Toshiba Plaza great as a Vegas Golden Knights hangout spot

First off, it's free to hang outside at the plaza. Sure, you might have your faces melt off from the triple-digit weather. However, you're not taking that mortgage out from going to one playoff game. Sometimes, you must pick your battles.

After all, you can simply stand in the shade and cool off. The scorching sun will eventually go down and not melt everyone down to the bone.

Plus, you can grab a nice Jack and Coke and take it with you. I'm positive they won't let you drink outside drinks into T-Mobile Arena because of the ensuing chaos. Believe me, you don't want to be hurling and giving the ushers all sorts of trouble.

Finally, it feels cool to be on the Las Vegas Strip while watching a hockey game. I remember going to Toshiba Plaza for the Stanley Cup-clinching game in 2023. The amount of high-fives I got from random strangers and the drinks I shared were something I'll cherish forever.

Sure, it might've been hard to see over the 6'4" person standing in front of me. But when you're packed like sardines for a Stanley Cup clincher, does it even matter?

For that, I say check out Toshiba Plaza once in your lifetime. You'll be amazed at who you meet and which friends you'll make along the way.
