Vegas Golden Knights fans were patiently waiting for someone to score a goal on Tuesday. Not since Reilly Smith's breathtaking buzzer-beater in Game 3 of the second round had Vegas seen anybody score a goal for them. Fans were getting impatient with the lack of progress in the goal department.
Then, Villiam Kmec changed everything.
"Strong defensive work at one end, and then helps score in transition!"

"It's been 84 years..."
Anyways, Golden Knights fans finally celebrated a long-awaited goal from their favorite team. Alas, it wasn't enough as the Los Angeles Kings upended the home team, 3-1. Still, it was nice to get off the snide and finally score a goal to ease the masses.
But that goes back to a common emotion many people feel during their lives: worry. We're worried about the test results coming back positive for a dreaded disease, leaving our worlds turned upside down. We're also worried about not being able to pay our bills on time, especially if our hours get cut.
It's not a fun world to live in when you're frantically thinking about where you'll be tomorrow. Luckily, Kmec's third-period goal is a gentle reminder that some things aren't meant to lose sleep over. After all, the Golden Knights are still playing in the preseason.
What Vegas Golden Knights fans can learn about worrying too much
Look, you're never getting through life without worrying about a few things. You're bound to worry about whether you're going to pass your college exam or whether you got the job. Being a sports fan is a perfect example of this, even for Golden Knights fans.
Take the Stanley Cup playoffs as a perfect example. Last season, the Golden Knights thought they had themselves a series with the Edmonton Oilers after winning Game 3. However, a 3-0 loss the next game, coupled with being shutout again in the game after that did them in. Going into Game 5, there was an air of worry wrapped around the franchise and whether they could beat Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
Lo and behold, that didn't happen. However, Kelly McCrimmon erased all temporary worry with Mitch Marner coming to town. Suddenly, the Golden Knights are Stanley Cup contenders again and people aren't worrying as much. It's funny how people aren't wrapped up in their heads after a big name comes to town.
So, the moral of the story is to not worry too much. Everything will be fine. Spend your time with loved ones and watch the Vegas Golden Knights win this year.
Don't worry. Be happy!
