Anyways, there are a lot of words to describe the Vegas Golden Knights. Some have called them "evil" and "the worst thing to ever happen to the NHL." Others have called them "one of the greatest expansion stories ever told." Don't tell the Kraken fans in Louisiana this. They'll probably disagree with you.
Anyways, there aren't enough adjectives, nouns, or whatever words to describe the Golden Knights. They're arguably the most controversial team in today's NHL landscape, with compliments and hatred flung at the franchise. You've probably heard everything thrown at the Golden Knights in recent years.
Some people have called them "salary cap circumventors" because of the Mark Stone fiasco. Others have hated certain signings and despised the team based on this. Other fans don't like the team because "they were gifted a team by Uncle Gary Bettman." Does that sound about right?
Anyway, the Golden Knights generate plenty of controversy in the hockey world. That's the whole point. You might like Vegas as a hockey team or you might hate them. Whatever floats your boat. But words have a powerful meaning, especially when it describes one of the most well-known NHL teams in the modern landscape.

Personally, I love to say that I'm "fortunate" as a Vegas Golden Knights fan. The team's endless success deserves more media attention, especially when you have fantastic ownership at the top. Playoff appearances in all but one season (2021-22), three Stanley Cup Final appearances, and a Stanley Cup. You've seen these achievements numerous times, yet you haven't grown tired of seeing them.
That's because it's the mark of an incredible franchise that knows what it's doing. Bill Foley made his intentions clear on where he expected the team to be six years from its start—Constantly competing for the playoffs? Getting in bed with Fox Sports and putting your face in front of a camera to sell merchandise? Not good enough for Foley and company.
In turn, it turned a desert to a literal hockey town. Suddenly, fans are packing T-Mobile Arena and cheering on the Golden Knights every other night. It's no wonder that the Golden Knights consistently rank in the Top 3 in this category. They're constantly a draw and opposing hockey fans even love coming to the city to check out an NHL game.
The moral of the story? Use the right words to describe the Vegas Golden Knights. You can hate the Golden Knights all you want. But you must admit that the team is worthy of more. You can't deny that they deserve to be up front and center.
