You know, it's never fun to be sick. You feel like a vampire sucked you dry and you can't do your basic functions. It's draining and can leave you feeling like you're helpless. That's the feeling that Vegas Golden Knights fans have right now, for they're watching their team play with... no heart.
I mean, a 4-1 loss would indicate that this team has lost the plot. The Golden Knights showed that against the Jets, playing like life had absolutely no meaning. It was extremely disappointing, especially after they showed some life in a 3-2 win on Sunday against the Dallas Stars.
Still, that's the main question: where's the heart? Where's the passion? Do the Golden Knights even care about making long Stanley Cup runs anymore? The Pacific Division is ripe for the taking, yet the team doesn't think it's a big deal.
Here's a bit of advice for the peeps out there. Do everything with heart and passion. You only have one life to live and you don't want to live with any regrets. Give it your all and find a way. What do you have to lose? A minor setback that you'll forget later?
Apply for that job. Ask for that date. Whatever it takes, give it your all and move on if it doesn't work out. Maybe you'll do better than how the Golden Knights are doing in 2025-26. Mind you, that's a fairly low bar to pass. But hey, you're doing better than a hockey team, right?
