Now, this isn't about recent events for the Vegas Golden Knights before Tuesday. I feel like this article is more about something that all of us have been through on a grander scale at least once in our lives. After all, none of us is perfect (unless it's the person making a delicious chicken taco. In that case, that person is immortal).
It doesn't matter if we say the wrong thing to our spouses or if we don't pick up our children from school on time. We're all prone to making the usual blunder that makes people wonder what the hell's wrong with us. Believe me when I say that this isn't a fun place to be.
With that, I'm going to talk about that and tell you what must be done. You must be willing to forgive and move on. It's that simple, yet many of us (myself included) have issues with doing this. Old habits die hard, as they say.
Again, I'm talking about life in general here. We've been in the occasional fender bender or have done something with poor judgment while we're hammered. It's easy to get caught in our emotions when it comes to certain obstacles.
That's why I say that we should take a step back and re-evaluate things. I was watching a YouTube video from Cinema Therapy where they talked about the "imaginary conversation." The therapist talked about how he'd vent in his car whenever someone wronged him in any way. That way, he'd parse through everything and pick out which items weren't true and what made sense.
After all, we're human at the end of the day. We're prone to making the occasional dumb social media post on Snapchat that gets us in hot water. Let's learn from our mistakes and forgive others who do the same (not repeatedly, of course. That's another conversation).
