I don't know if I told the good people within the Vegas Golden Knights' community this. But I'm planning on getting a lil' podcast up on June 20. It'll be called Jacob's Realm and it'll feature plenty to talk about within, well, the realm.
We're talking about Stadium Series games, a potential Stanley Cup, and the looming offseason. It'll be a jam-packed summer for the Golden Knights (and myself), as I will have plenty on my plate before the 2026-27 season starts.
Still, there's plenty of motivation involved with these projects. My mission is to give Golden Knights fans plenty of content for the season, whether it's during the long summer months or during the regular season. That means building out a consistent schedule on the other end and ensuring that Golden Knights fans get quality content.
Of course, that motivation also comes from the hockey team itself. On Tuesday, the Golden Knights were down, 2-0. Nikolaj Ehlers scores 25 seconds into the game and adds another later in the first period. Should that have been the dagger that buried Vegas in Game 1?
No.
You see, the team operated on a different level. Adding three consecutive goals to take the lead swung the momentum in the Golden Knights' favor, bringing a back-and-forth battle into the forefront. Lo and behold, Tomas Hertl gets the game-winning goal and the Golden Knights steal home-ice advantage.
The moral of the story? Use some motivation to get through your day. That can come with starting a new project or simply getting up and taking a shower. Whatever the case, get going and keep moving.
