I know I touched on mental health since it's a crucial topic for everyone, including Vegas Golden Knights fans. However, another aspect is vital for people everywhere: physical health. I'm talking about taking care of your heart, your organs, and everything in between.

Personally, that started with picking up a soccer ball and kicking it around. No, I'm not Lionel Messi by any stretch of the imagination. However, it's still a fun activity for many reasons, aside from boosting your cardio.

But it's more than that. When I was a little kid, I was passionate about playing soccer at recess. I made like Tomas Hertl on the power play and got in front of the goaltender. That would be how I got my goals, digging my rear into the front of the net. Fun must be always, even as a eight-year-old.

Speaking of health, that's something that's currently ailing the Golden Knights. With prominent names like Mark Stone and Noah Hanifin on injured reserve, it's making life harder for Vegas. How can they continue winning without some top stars in the lineup? What can the boys do to adjust to losing key players?

What we can learn about making our health go further as Vegas Golden Knights fans

Let's be honest. We're living in lazier times. People would rather watch Netflix and be immersed in unhealthy routines than try something new. It's hampered our very way of life and degraded society as a whole.

Part of that has been convenience taking over every industry. It doesn't matter if it's Amazon, streaming services, or even working remote. We've become more insulated than ever, leading to some conflicting results. While we don't have to go to our cars anymore, it's also led to degrading mental health and other abnormalities.

That's why I'm here to suggest a physical activity. According to the National Institute of Health, inactivity leads to higher rates of mortality and healthcare expenses. In an age where people want to live longer, that's not good news.

That's why I grabbed a $10 soccer ball from Amazon. It's simple, yet effective in getting my daily exercise in. I can get my 2,500 steps in while pretending I'm the next Cristiano Ronaldo (or try to be, at least). For Golden Knights fans, they should apply that logic with other activities, whether it's hockey or another sport.

Trust me, you'll thank me later!
