Are you a Vegas Golden Knights fan who's into technology? Do you want to see the latest AI products and innovations without seeing Elon Musk act like a space alien? Then you should check out CES, which is happening at the Las Vegas Convention Center!

The annual showcase displays the most innovative technologies in our society, highlighting what people should expect to see tomorrow. No, the flying cars haven't arrived yet. However, you can expect to see plenty of innovative items centered around AI, whether it's robotic spouses or TV's that (literally) jump out at you.

However, planning for an event like CES can be tricky if you're out of town. You must book a hotel in advance along with an airline ticket and pay for parking. That's never fun, especially if you're caught behind the dreaded Las Vegas traffic. However, a good plan will always tackle these problems, even when unforeseen circumstances arise. How, you ask?

Well, going to T-Mobile Arena can be treacherous as well. You're dealing with traffic, the bigger security guard who misdirects you in line, and walking through countless people can be a pain. Luckily, that good plan will help you deal with these issues as you make your way through the convention. Here's how.

How to plan for events like CES and Vegas Golden Knights games

First, plan out your routes accordingly. If you don't like being stuck in rush-hour traffic, the highway's probably not for you. After all, nobody likes being stuck on the 215 with 2,000 other people driving, especially during the summer. Therefore, you should find alternate routes that takes you where you need to be.

Second, where to park? Know where the best places to park proximity-wise are, saving you time and energy for walking. Unless you don't mind burning a few calories on your journey, you should find the closest spot to where you need to go. You don't want to run three miles to T-Mobile Arena for a hockey game, do you?

Bring plenty of money with you, too. Stadium food is never cheap, specifically when watching a Vegas Golden Knights game or eating before or after CES. Therefore, plan your trip by getting sufficient cash. Do remember that numerous places aren't accepting cash as a means of payment anymore. Therefore, get your debit or credit cards ready.

Finally, have fun. Life is too short to worry about what will happen. If the Golden Knights lose a regular season game, oh well. There are 40 other games (maximum) that you can go to T-Mobile Arena for the Golden Knights. If you miss CES, you can always go next year and check if they have flying cars. The journey is the destination (or something like that).

If you're at CES to showcase the latest gadgets and inventions, have fun and take plenty of pictures. If you're going to the Vegas Golden Knights game, leave your baggage at home and enjoy the night out. Just be sure you have everything planned out beforehand. That way, you can truly enjoy your night on the Strip (or in other parts of Las Vegas).
