When heading to a Vegas Golden Knights game, what's your ritual? Do you load up on alcohol before crashing into T-Mobile Arena? Perhaps you play some NHL 25 and pretend you're blowing your opponent into the stratosphere. Whatever the case, it's important to maintain everything in moderation.
That's especially true with the world getting crazier. There's so much screaming across all sides of the aisle that people are having their senses overwhelmed. Citizens calling each other names... Having grown temper tantrums in public. These things have caused people to lose their collective minds, especially when there's an election in a couple of weeks. Fortunately, there's hockey season, which helps us soothe those nerves.
However, that brings us back to the important lesson in moderation. There can be too much of a good thing (except if it's Golden Knights hockey). For example, too much alcohol daily will send your liver into an eternal hell. There's also eating too much in one sitting, which could lead you to throw up.
Here's the thing, dear reader. It's important to have a safe gameday experience when seeing the Golden Knights. As fun as it is to go out on the Las Vegas Strip and have a story to tell, it can hurt you in the long run. You could get pulled over for a DUI (which will go on your record, by the way) or even kill someone. That's why moderation is crucial to our daily lives.
The difference in indulging and having a routine
Of course, having a routine before going to a Vegas Golden Knights game is completely different. For example, I like to go to Beerhaus before a Golden Knights game and grab a burger and fries. There's also checking out the outdoor sign, which has some interesting wisdom on its own. After that, it's off to T-Mobile Arena for an NHL game.
That's vastly different from indulging in something too much. If you splurge on something to a crazy degree, you suffer the side effects of said splurge. That goes for drinking until your liver is puked out or eating too much of anything in one sitting. It's crucial to know your limits, especially if you're driving home.
Once upon a time, I went to a Golden Knights game with my buddy. We had the time of our lives, I ate a buffalo chicken sandwich and had one too many beers before the game. Then, I proceeded to order Wendy's for some reason (gotta have those nuggets and frosty!). The next day? I was on the toilet puking, leading me to leave work early.
Don't be like me going to my first Golden Knights game, folks. It's not a pretty sight when you're on the toilet puking out your stomach for one hour. It feels like an irrigation procedure done on your liver, only you don't know when you're getting up. That's why moderation is crucial to our daily lives. You might hurt yourself or others around you when you're taking in an NHL game.
