But he's not the only Golden Knight who can surpass Marchessault's record. In fact, he has some company in the pursuit of the most all-time points in Golden Knights history.
Who has the most realistic shot at holding the all-time points record with the Vegas Golden Knights?
As much as Karlsson deserves the all-time points record, a few factors are working against him. First, he's 33 years old. Second, he's dealt with a wave of injuries that has limited his on-ice time in the past couple of seasons. Third, he's got company.
That starts with Mark Stone, who sits at 396 points. Like Karlsson, he's had a not-so-decorated injury history in the past two seasons. Heck, that's been the case for the Captain throughout his Vegas residency. But he's shown that he can still chug along, even with his body being battered during his Vegas residency.
There's also Shea Theodore, the other Misfit who's in the midst of a seven-year contract. The Golden Knights defenseman has 385 points and is expected to surpass his fellow Misfit's mark at some point. Most likely, it'll be this season, barring any major regression or health concerns.

But the Golden Knight that shouldn't be overlooked here is Jack Eichel. The Olympic gold medalist sits at 343 point and has amassed back-to-back seasons of 90 or more points. While he'll have some stiff competition from the likes of Stone and Theodore this season, the superstar center is the betting favorite five years from now.
He's averaging a franchise-best 1.09 points per game during his Vegas residency, far better than Karlsson (0.71) and Theodore (0.66). Only Stone comes close to him in this regard (0.99) and it's a matter of when the Captain eventually retires. And guess what? Eichel begins his new eight-year deal this upcoming season.
If you're wondering who'll topple Marchessault's all-time points record this upcoming season first, it's anyone's guess. It'll be a far more unpredictable guess as to who stands alone once 2026-27 concludes. But this record is Eichel's to lose unless he suddenly falls out of favor physically.
