Tanner Laczynski barely enjoyed his coffee before receiving a demotion

It didn't take long for the Vegas Golden Knights to send Tanner Laczynski back down to the Henderson Silver Knights. You can say it was a "New York Minute."

Boy, that didn't take long for Tanner Lacyznski to be re-assigned to the AHL.

The Vegas Golden Knights forward was called up before Tuesday's game against the New York Rangers due to Jeremy Lauzon's undisclosed injury. However, it appears that he's going back to the Henderson Silver Knights quicker than expected.

Of course, Lauzon is still on injured reserve, along with Adin Hill, Mark Stone, and William Karlsson. There are also 22 roster spots filled, including Carter Hart's place.

While Laczynski hasn't touched the ice for the Golden Knights, he has played 13 games for the Silver Knights this season. Here, he's scored four goals and nine assists, leading the Silver Knights to a record of 8-5-1 and 17 points entering Wednesday.

Sure, he might not have a game under his belt for Vegas this season. However, he did spend eight games on the ice for the organization, scoring a goal in the process. That's not bad for a sixth-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers, especially after being forgotten by the organization. As for his stay...

You can say that Laczynski's stay was like a "New York Minute."

But in all seriousness, it was nice knowing you, Laczynski. May you lead the Silver Knights back to the promised land and bring them back to relevancy. After all, Nevada needs another dominant hockey franchise to establish itself as a bona fide hockey power.

Still, it could be a sign of things to come for the Golden Knights. Currently, they're riding the waves of a super-rookie, Braeden Bowman. They're also seeing depth scorers add offense and win games. That could be a sign of things to come for both the Golden Knights and the Silver Knights.
