How can a team entering the league seven seasons ago have countless playoff memories? When you're the Vegas Golden Knights and you have an excellent front office and owner, you can afford that luxury. It's good to be the king.

So here are the Golden Knights in all their glory, fulfilling promises and shocking the critics. Consistent playoff appearances, two Stanley Cup Finals appearances, and even the most coveted prize in sports will get you that. It's good to be king.

So what are these "mythical" playoff moments in Golden Knights history? What moments stood out for the most controversial franchise in NHL history? Strap in, folks. It's time to dive into some "nostalgia" and remember the good ol' days.

1. Game 5 of the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals

Game 5 of the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals was a game the Vegas Golden Knights could feel. Beating the Florida Panthers in the previous game, 3-2, the momentum was on their side and they could taste the champagne. All they had to do was dispose of the Panthers. Boy, did the Golden Knights deliver in that Game 5.

Behind captain Mark Stone's hat trick, the Golden Knights throttled the Panthers, 9-3. They won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, fulfilling Bill Foley's promise in the process. No list can't start their No. 1 without the Stanley Cup clincher, and it's easy to see why.

The win also galvanized the Golden Knights as Vegas's original team. No relocations. No sleazy owners running shoestring budgets. Just Bill Foley and Kelly McCrimmon assembling the best roster to do the job, making Vegas strong.

2. Adin Hill's Game 1 Save

Of course, the Vegas Golden Knights wouldn't have that Stanley Cup without Adin Hill's incredible Game 1 save. Nick Cousins was on the doorstep with a gimme goal in the second period. Easy, right? Not so fast. Suddenly, Hill appears and swats the puck out with his stick.

The Golden Knights went on to demolish the Panthers in Game 1 of the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals, 5-2. As the old saying goes, "The rest is history." However, the Golden Knights goaltender came through with a highlight-reel stop that led Vegas to their first Stanley Cup.

3. The Vegas Golden Knights Making Their First Stanley Cup Final

You always remember your first, whether it's winning the Stanley Cup or even making the Stanley Cup Finals. Although the Vegas Golden Knights didn't win it all in their inaugural season (2017-2018), they still impressed sports fans and NHL fans alike. That's especially true when hockey experts and critics didn't think the Golden Knights could contend entering their first season.

With the Las Vegas community reeling from a terrible mass shooting that took 60 lives, residents needed something to turn to. The Raiders weren't in town yet and the Vegas Golden Knights were just a babyfaced team. Little did everyone know that the new hockey team, a group of "Misfits", mind you, would take the sports world by storm.

Yet, that's what they did. The Golden Knights made short work of the Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, and Winnipeg Jets to represent the Western Conference. While Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup Finals, 4-1, the Golden Knights became the belle of the Las Vegas Ball.
