Do you know about Brendan Fraser? He's a renowned actor who endured numerous hardships throughout his life, including a brutal divorce and a horrific SA case. However, that didn't stop him from winning Best Actor for his role in The Whale. It's a story worth celebrating in today's society.
Luke Adam might not have the same redemption story as Fraser. However, he still has something cool to brag about. He's returning to the Tahoe Knight Monsters for another season, bolstering the Vegas Golden Knights' overall depth.

Last season, the 35-year-old scored 17 goals and 22 assists in 70 games, making him one of the essential Knight Monsters. One can argue that this was his best season since coming over from countries like Germany, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
Unfortunately, the Knight Monsters' Captain never broke through on the NHL level. He had one decent season with the Buffalo Sabres in 2011-12, scoring 10 goals and 10 assists (52 games). After that, it was all downhill. It's a rough ride akin to getting involved in a messy divorce.
Still, the Knight Monsters' life isn't so bad, especially when you make the playoffs in your inaugural season. With a deep forward group entering the 2025-26 season, the young ECHL club looks to terrorize the league once again.
Of course, you can't do that without your precious Captain in tow. Perhaps Adam can take a note from his fellow Canadian and carve out a similar comeback story of his own.
Chances are he won't float up to heaven like it's his time. But it could mean he gets the Kelly Cup at the end of 2025-26. Now that would be a nice redemption story.
