Remember when I talked about the Knighttime+ app and how it was one way to watch the Vegas Golden Knights? Well, it appears there's another way to watch everyone's favorite team.
No, it doesn't involve pirating.
I've heard plenty of rumblings from Golden Knights fans about the Knighttime+ app. Some have had absolute disdain for it and hate watching it constantly glitch. On top of that, the app tells them they're out of location when they're clearly in location, frustrating Golden Knights fans everywhere.
Personally, I didn't have any issues with it. I saw the game just fine and heard Dave Goucher as crisp as a whistle. On top of that, there was a crime program that talked about someone being brutalized by running on a treadmill.
I know, it sounds incredibly bizarre. I guess I have some additional viewing to watch for Scripps in the future.
Anyways, some people are looking for an alternative to watching the Golden Knights take on the Utah Mammoth on Thursday. Maybe they can try going to the game and checking out preseason action? After all, T-Mobile Arena offers plenty of good entertainment for the fans.
But what's another way you could watch a potential game where Jack Eichel and Mitch Marner play?
Scripps Sports will have the Vegas Golden Knights playing the Utah Mammoth
Say you don't want to pay $69.99 (nice with change) for Knighttime+. Perhaps you had a horrible experience filled with glitches and not "being in the right location." Maybe you're looking to stay home and stick to the basics for viewing the game.
Have no fear because Scripp Sports is here. Channel 34 is the destination and you can listen to Dave Goucher warm up for the upcoming long haul. For people who have a television, it beats paying for Knighttime+ for an entire year in certain respects.
But let's say you don't have a television and don't feel like going to Wal-Mart for one. After all, installing one in your house can be a pain in the arse. Why not hang out with Dan D'Uva and listen to the game? 98.9 is the place to be and you can hear D'Uva call a Golden Knights goal or two (if they get one!).
'Tis the season for seeing Goucher, Daren Millard, Gary Lawless and the whole gang back in our lives again. It feels like it's been forever since we last met and it's time for everyone to catch up. What better way than to watch a hockey game on Thursday and hang out with some old friends? Grab a beer because it's time for a hockey game!
