Sometimes, you must do things in life that you absolutely don't like. For example, I'm not the biggest fan of paying taxes. But I must do them because the alternative is facing prison time. Trust me when I say that it's better to plug your nose and eat your liver on this one.
One such example of this is Knighttime+, the controversial app that has given Vegas Golden Knights fans fits. The experience is akin to getting open heart surgery without anesthesia: absolute pain and misery.
People have given Knighttime+, the Golden Knights streaming app, a ton of guff in many regards. They've complained about still screens, glitched games, and not logging into their accounts. For all the things the Golden Knights do right, they can't find a solid streaming service.
However, that's a tough reality that fans must live with for the preseason. Currently, Vegas has an offer where all preseason games are free. You can watch the upcoming prospects gain valuable experience and move closer to achieving their dreams.
After the preseason's done? $69.99, buckaroo. Is it worth paying that much for every game not nationally televised?
What else does Knighttime+ offer aside from free preseason games?
Upon looking at Knighttime+, I noticed a few things about the app. For one, you could watch the "classics," which consisted of the best regular season games in Golden Knights history. That included matchups against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Arizona (Rest In Peace) Coyotes, and the San Jose Sharks. That makes this purchase worthwhile despite the product's other shortcomings.
On top of that, you could order single-game tickets! Isn't that something? If you're interest in going to T-Mobile Arena for chicken tenders straight from a zamboni, this is for you. You also get replays of every game, including the losses. Sadly, you won't find preseason replays on here since, well, those games don't count.
Still, is it worth it to pay to see all the Golden Knights games happen? Well, it depends on if you have the stomach to watch technical glitches and location issues. Personally, I'm interested in seeing what this streaming service can do for me. So far, I've encountered no issues (aside from minor buffering) and am looking forward to watching the preseason games.
