Vegas Golden Knights fans will remember Tomas Nosek's vital role with the team in 2017-18. He scored seven goals and eight assists, anchoring the bottom lines en route to a Stanley Cup Final. He was also efficient in the faceoff department (Ã la Nic Dowd), winning 53.8% of his faceoffs.
Of course, he stuck around for three more seasons before he departed for Boston. Overall? 31 goals and 34 assists in his four-year Vegas residency. But on Friday, it was announced that he was joining HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga. That's right, he's heading back to his native Czech Republic for more hockey.
Nosek also made another Stanley Cup Final appearance in 2024-25. This time, it was with the Florida Panthers, where he won his only Stanley Cup in his 11-year career. Still, his defining moment will be with the Golden Knights, where he had the longest tenure of his NHL career.
Here's to you, Nosek. Hopefully, you have fun back in the Czech Republic and enjoy life. Who knows? You might hang out with Brad Hunt, should he make his way out to Prague. It might be a blast talking about your hockey days in Las Vegas.
