Vegas Golden Knights fans noticed a particular center group not getting enough love in the rankings. Harman Dayal of The Athletic ranked Jack Eichel and William Karlsson as Tier 3, making them high-end centers. They missed out on Tiers 1 and 2, which consist of the best of the bunch.

Bleacher Report thinks that Jack Eichel will achieve a franchise-first
On a more positive note, Bleacher Report made a bold proclamation regarding Jack Eichel. The publication predicted that the Olympic gold medalist would be the first 100-point player in Vegas Golden Knights history. Believe it or not, it makes perfect sense.
Eichel has the most single-season points in franchise history (94 in 2024-25) and also has the most single-season assists (66 in 2024-25). But this will require Eichel to score more goals, specifically on the power play. No more getting away with one power play goal in a season.
Macklin Celebrini secures a monster deal that the Golden Knights wouldn't dare sign
Let's steer a little bit away from the Realm for a second, shall we? San Jose Sharks superstar Macklin Celebrini secured a five-year, $18.8 million AAV deal to stick around in the Bay Area. On the surface, it makes sense since he's the hottest commodity around.
However, the Golden Knights secured Mitch Marner ($12 million AAV) and Jack Eichel ($13.5 million AAV) for less. Once again, Kelly McCrimmon's salary cap mastery comes into focus as the general manager knows these deals will be drops in the bucket.
