A 102-point player coming to Las Vegas always brings the excitement out of the people. You want to tear off your shirt, flex like the Ultimate Warrior, and run through a brick wall. Believe me, I know.
It's enough to make you want to bodyslam your grandmother for no apparent reason other than pure joy. It's enough to make you want to join Bills Mafia and do a flying elbow through a flaming table.
That's what Vegas Golden Knights fans feel after watching the first video of Mitch Marner practicing with the team. Armed with the signature white and gold gloves, Marner's scoring prowess was on full display.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what the Golden Knights are getting. A player with 221 career goals and 520 career assists sounds promising enough. But when you add 50 power play goals and 178 power play assists in his career, that makes this video even more appealing.
With a career shooting percentage of 13.3% and 37 career game-winning goals, you're looking at a player who'll seamlessly fit right in. It's a promising sign for Jack Eichel, who's been searching for a bona fide winger since he arrived on the Las Vegas scene.
Some skeptics will look at this and say, "Oh, It'S jUsT iLyA sAmSoNov!" Does it look like Samsonov is stopping Marner's incoming shots? If so, does it matter? All that matters is the former Toronto Maple Leafs star is getting ready for the 2025-26 season by firing off an array of blistering wristers.
Guess what? We're all here for it! It's time for the Golden Knights to get back into the groove of things and see what the team can do. Most of all, it's time to watch Marner and Eichel take over the world, just as the Good Lord intended.
Is it October 8th yet?
