Tonight, I present a challenge to you, dear reader. We're going to construct a list of bands you should listen to before every Vegas Golden Knights game. But! There's a twist.

These bands aren't directly associated with the Golden Knights themselves. That means these bands aren't heard in the intro, whenever Vegas scores a goal, or whenever they win a game. Therefore, Elvis, Panic At The Disco!, and Le Castlevania are all disqualified.

After all, listening to the same three bands can be tiresome. So let's change it up a little bit with my three suggestions. These are from my personal playlist and will perk up your ears.

You know what to do, dear reader. Turn on that Spotify and get ready to rock before game time!

1.) Ghost

For me, Ghost is the ideal band for Vegas Golden Knights game day. Every time I listen to songs like "Square Hammer," "Rats," and "From The Pinnacle To The Pit," I think about what the Golden Knights entering the ice.

Some might say they're a little, well, devil-ish. One might say the band's attributed to a particular occult. However, Ghost is music that summons hockey players onto the ice instead of banshees.

2.) The Hu

Fun fact for you. On the way to my first Golden Knights game in 2022, me and my buddies stopped at a nice gastropub. We filled up on beer and buffalo chicken sandwiches before watching Vegas lose to the New Jersey Devils. "Yuve Yuve Yu" (with From Ashes To New) was playing in the background as we talked about football and baseball.

For that, I will always associate the Mongolian band with the Golden Knights based off that first experience. It reminds me of how chill the fan experience is before heading to a game and of my first game.

3.) The Killers

I mean, c'mon. Let's be realistic here. You can't have a Las Vegas list without The Killers involved.

How many times have you belted out "Mr. Brightside" at the top of your lungs while driving down the Las Vegas Strip? That's no different for a Vegas Golden Knights game, especially when it's game day at T-Mobile Arena.

4.) Volbeat

For me, Volbeat is the perfect band for any hockey game. They can change their musical tone for darker metal (i.e., "Room 24") and mix it up with something lighter (i.e. "Lola Montez").

That's why you can't go wrong with the Danish band. For families and friends that want something lighter, this is for you.
