3 things Vegas Golden Knights fans should be thankful for this Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is upon us, so spread your thanks to those in your life. That includes the Vegas Golden Knights.

The organization's overall success

Overall, Vegas Golden Knights fans have been blessed with tremendous success since the team took the ice in 2017-18. They've made six Stanley Cup playoff appearances, two Stanley Cup Final appearances, and won it all in 2022-23. No team can talk about their success since their inception more than the Golden Knights.

This Thanksgiving, thank Bill Foley for building a world-class organization. That includes picking up Kelly McCrimmon as the general manager, acquiring Eichel from the Buffalo Sabres, and drafting players like Jonathan Marchessault and Marc-Andre Fleury in the 2017 Expansion Draft.

In turn, the Golden Knights have become a community staple. They've started events such as the "Battle for Vegas" (thank you, Reilly Smith) and have healed the city after the tragic mass shooting on October 1, 2017. When Las Vegas needed something to hold onto for hope, the hockey team came through.

All that is courtesy of a caring owner who set the standard for Vegas hockey. Everyone does their part and there's nobody that's valued more than the other. It's what makes the Golden Knights a tough team to play. It's also why they've become a championship-caliber team every year.
