Are you ready for the Christmas and holiday season, Vegas Golden Knights fans? I said...

ARE...

YOU...

READY?

You know what time it is, Golden Knights fans. It's time to celebrate the people we love by giving them extravagant gifts such as PlayStations, the latest Mitch Marner jersey, and... socks.

I mean, that was the gift that you despised as a kid. Nobody wanted to get socks or underwear because they weren't exciting. But now? Oh, how the times have changed, my friends.

But the Golden Knights are hoping to give the fans a gift of a solid run this month. They've slogged through October and November, yet they remain in playoff position with a record of 11-6-8 and 30 points.

That means getting more from everyone, whether it's Marner, Jack Eichel, or even the netminders. But it also means that the Golden Knights must get more from their forgotten players. That way, they aren't so forgotten.

Three names come to mind in this regard. These players have been quieter than usual, leaving fans to wonder what in the sleigh bells is going on. Perhaps these three players can give the gift of goals, penalties killed, and hits. That way, Las Vegas can celebrate the holidays with a collective grin on its face.

1.) Colton Sissons

Colton Sissons has been relatively quiet this season, aside from being the face-off merchant that everyone expected (56.4% in 2025-26, second-best on Vegas with a minimum of 15 games). The center only has one goal and two assists, leaving Golden Knights fans to ask...

He's been part of an abysmal lower-line unit that hasn't had much luck with scoring goals. According to MoneyPuck, he was expected to score 3.1 goals so far. While he's not expected to have much of a shot selection (40% Corsi and 39% Fenwick in 2025-26), he must get more involved on the lower lines.

2.) Kaedan Korczak

On the defenseman side, we have Kaedan Korczak, who doesn't have a point since his goal on November 8 against the Anaheim Ducks. But there's been one particular area that's been especially concerning: the giveaways.

Korczak has 29 giveaways this season, including 17 in the defensive zone. Part of Vegas's puck control woes stems from the blue line, going back to the 24-year-old. I expect him to break out of his scoring slump soon. But taking care of the puck would be a great start.

3.) Cole Reinhardt

Cole Reinhardt wants to stay on the Golden Knights roster badly. He wants to be the gritty forward that everyone adores and loves, etching his name in the annals of the team lore forever.

How can he do that? Keep drawing penalty minutes. He's drawn 16 so far, making him valuable to the power play. But he can also continue to be the proverbial spark plug that Vegas needs on the lower units.

That means getting gritty goals and hitting people. That will go a long way in ensuring that he sticks around on the Golden Knights roster heading into April.
