For all the talk about traveling and going to different cities, I feel bad about not having Vegas Golden Knights games on my schedule. It's not easy being constantly busy, you know. You must plan everything ahead of time while you're waiting for your airplane to arrive.
It's a crazy life, I tell ya.
But let's give some love to the T-Mobile Arena games now. Let's plan some home games where we're listening to "John Wick Mode" before the game and grooving to Panic At The Disco! after every goal. After all, there's nothing like hockey in Las Vegas, even if some haters think hockey doesn't belong in the desert.
So, which games are we checking out? Well, that's a good question. You see, I'm a working man who's stuck with working during the weekdays. The difference is that I'm a night owl who's relegated to working until 11 PM. Thererfore, we shall plan for the weekends, matey.
With that are three games that are on my radar. These games have a variety of stipulations to their name. That includes playoff teams, up-and-coming teams, and teams... on the fringe.
Anyways, let's have some fun here. Let's look into the three games that are circled on my calender at T-Mobile Arena!
1.) October 18 against the Calgary Flames
Wait, the Calgary Flames?
Why the Calgary Flames?
Well, aside from being stuck between rebuilding and fighting for a potential playoff spot, Noah Hanifin came from the Flames (Rhymes Like Dimes!). A little reunion of sorts is always fun, especially when you're facing off against a divisional opponent.
2.) November 8 against the Anaheim Ducks
I'm excited to see what the new-look Ducks can do. They added Chris Kreider to the mix, bolstering their offensive output. They also have Joel Quenneville behind the bench as well, giving them a proven leader.
Also, Lukas Dostal is an exciting young goaltender who can provide stability for years to come. The goal for Anaheim is taking that next step this season. Will they become a thorn in Vegas's side this year?
3.) March 8 against the Edmonton Oilers
As mentioned, this is a potential battle for the Pacific Division. Aside from the Golden Knights and the Oilers, there isn't much competition in the division, leaving the two teams potentially to duel for the divisional crown.
It could also be a playoff preview, where fans will be plotting on how they can stop Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Golden Knights fans would love nothing more than to get their revenge on their hated adversaries, especially after they beat Vegas in five games.
