The Vegas Golden Knights won Game 4 by a final score of 3-2 on Saturday night. Now after the win, they find themselves that much closer to hoisting the Stanley Cup.
The Vegas Golden Knights need to win just one more game. They are now heading back home to play in their home rink for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, and the Cup will be in the building. After a tough loss in Game 3, the Golden Knights bounced back in Game 4 and are now in a good position to win it all.
The Golden Knights have been on a mission to bring the Stanley Cup to Las Vegas, and that mission has been carried out by the team’s top players. Jonathan Marchessault leads the team with 13 goals and 24 points in 21 games this postseason. Additionally, Jack Eichel and Mark Stone have played great as well with both scoring some clutch goals along the way.
Vegas Golden Knights are one more win from supremacy
This team has five or six players who are all deserving of taking home the Conn Smythe trophy, which just goes to show how many players have stepped up over the course of the playoffs. So many players on this roster are experienced, Alex Pietrangelo has won the Stanley Cup before, so has Alec Martinez. Outside of the players, Head Coach Bruce Cassidy also knows a thing or two about winning in the postseason.
Cassidy has been in this position before. Before he was the head coach of the Golden Knights he was the head coach of the Bruins and was just one win from winning the Stanley Cup in 2019, this time around he has three opportunities to finish the series.
The Golden Knights have a roster built to win. Against every opponent this postseason they have found a way to get things done. Against the Winnipeg Jets, the Golden Knights won in just five games. Then it took six against the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars. We will have to wait and see whether or not the Golden Knights can finish this up in five games, or if it will get a little bit longer.

When the Golden Knights became a franchise back in 2017, their owner, Bill Foley, said:
"I’ve said playoffs in three (years) and Stanley Cup in six (years)."
Now they find themselves just one win away from making that a reality.
