There will be a fourth Vegas Golden Knights jersey to treat yourself to this year.
Christmas may well have just come early for Vegas Golden Knights fans because yet another new uniform is about to be revealed.
According to icethetics on Twitter, the National Hockey League will be introducing “Reverse Retro” jerseys for all 31 franchises for the 2020-21 season.

Even the Golden Knights, who have only been in the league since 2017, will be getting a “Reverse Retro” jersey and there are some concept designs already doing the rounds.
SinBin reported and then created what a Vegas “Reverse Retro” jersey could look like, which you can see here, and now icethetics has seemingly confirmed the design concept.
Based on and inspired by the uniforms worn by the Las Vegas Thunder, who played in the IHL (International Hockey League) from 1993 to 1999, these proposed “Reverse Retro” jerseys have a hell of a lot of potential.
Mostly red with a striking black, gold and silver grey V shaped design on the bottom and on the sleeves of the jersey, this is a clear throwback to the Las Vegas Thunder’s 1993 jersey, although theirs was blue.
The jersey will also feature Vegas’ secondary logo on the front across the chest, while the Golden Knights crest will be on each shoulder, per SinBin.
If this is indeed the “Reverse Retro” jersey the Golden Knights go with, then it is pretty striking and should prove popular with fans given how different it is to their other uniforms.
Also, according to Chris Smith of icethetics, these jerseys will be worn only once or twice per season and in rivalry games, meaning that the Golden Knights could be sporting these cool-looking “Reverse Retro” jerseys against their arch-rivals the San Jose Sharks.
This reveal comes a couple of weeks after the Golden Knights announced their eye-catching and electrifying all-gold third jerseys, which will certainly make Vegas stand out on the ice and should make T-Mobile Arena even more intimidating once fans are allowed back in again.
Overall, the “Reverse Retro” jersey concept by adidas is fascinating, and there’s a lot of fun ways to go with certain franchises that have a lot of history, like the New York Rangers who better bring back the Lady Liberty jerseys (yes, I’m a Blueshirts fan).
For the Golden Knights, while they don’t have a lot to throwback to, they’ve done a nice job with these potential fourth jerseys and it will be exciting to see them in action on the ice once the 2020-21 NHL season eventually starts, whenever that may be.
