Eli Manning now has Twitter and so should Vegas Golden Knights goalie Marc-Andre Fleury.
Sports fans, and New York Giants fans in particular, were given a treat on Saturday when retired quarterback Manning officially jumped on the Twitter bandwagon, and we can only hope that a certain Vegas Golden Knights netminder follows suit.
Manning, as well as winning two Super Bowls, has always been perfect meme material and he’s taken the Twitter world by storm already.
Despite only joining on Saturday, the former Giant has been very active and he was comedy gold on Sunday while his brother, Peyton Manning, took part in The Match: Champions For Charity.

And Eli Manning being on Social Media got me thinking…
We need Marc-Andre Fleury on Twitter.
The Golden Knights goalie and future Hall of Famer is one of the funniest personalities in the National Hockey League and his elaborate pranks are famous.
Known as the NHL’s resident prankster, trouble is always around the corner when Fleury is present and he’s an entertaining interview too.
So, with that in mind, it would be the best thing in the world if Fleury jumped on Twitter.
Especially now with the sporting world on lockdown, it would give Golden Knights fans a distraction from all the bad and scary news in the world and it would also fill the void left by no hockey.
Fleury loves chirping players so it would be fun to see who he would go after on Twitter, plus he could also share stories on some of the most famous pranks he has pulled on both current and former teammates.
Imagine Fleury providing commentary on the time he caused chaos in a hotel by letting off stink bombs while with the Pittsburgh Penguins – it would be hilarious.
Also, Fleury is a very thoughtful person and he gives a great interview, so it would be fascinating to hear his views on some hot topics in hockey right now.
He’s a three-time Stanley Cup champion so some stories from those runs, in addition to his time with the Golden Knights, would make Fleury a must-follow on Twitter.
At 35 years of age it is unclear whether Fleury will ever join the Twitter sphere, or maybe he’s waiting until he retires.
But, one thing is for certain and that’s the fact that Marc-Andre Fleury would be a must follow for all Vegas Golden Knights fans and NHL fans in general.
Fleury, please answer our prayers and join Twitter soon!
