Life without Vegas Golden Knights hockey has left a sizeable void, one we will try and fill with a fun exercise.

It has been a month since the NHL was forced to hit the pause button on the 2019-20 regular season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and there is no return date in sight for the Vegas Golden Knights.

While a bevy of different proposals from a 24-team playoff format to finishing the year in North Dakota have all been floated around, the cold hard truth is that all sports will be dictated to by the virus and by health authorities.

As such, there is a bleak outlook when it comes to whether or not sports will return this year, and that is tough news for those of us who love hockey with all of our being.

However, we decided to try and brighten up your day by jumping on the bandwagon of a game that is doing the rounds on social media.

From debating your favorite show to all-time TV character to ballpark foods, the internet is currently awash with what we like to call boredom busters.

And we decided to get in on the act by allowing you to pick your All-Time Vegas Golden Knights Lineup.

There is a catch, however.

You only have $15 in which to construct a team.

Now, granted, we are aware obviously that the Golden Knights are a mere baby when it comes to how many years they have been around.

But, what they lack in years in the NHL they make up for in a slew of great players to choose from when constructing your team.

So, without further ado, let’s reveal the players you can choose from when building your ideal Vegas lineup…

So, we’ve tried to put together a good mix of current and former players for the Golden Knights, giving you plenty of options to build a dangerous lineup.

Here is one we put together using the above guidelines:

Our $15 All-Time Lineup

$5 – Mark Stone (F)

$4 – Shea Theodore (D)

$3 – David Perron (F)

$2 – Robin Lehner (G)

$1 – Ryan Reaves (F)

So, we decided to go all out and only ride with one defenseman, although we think Shea Theodore is more than capable of manning the blueline on his own.

Robin Lehner can clean up any mistakes, while Mark Stone brings an abundance of star power to the lineup.

David Perron, although he only spent one year with the Golden Knights, was hugely productive in Sin City with 66 points (16 goals, 50 assists) in 70 games, while Ryan Reaves will bring brute strength to the table.

What do you think? Reckon you can do better?

Next. Golden Knights would still be kings if NHL rolls back to 68 games. dark
