We are all trying our best to keep ourselves in self-isolation while the world continues to battle with the coronavirus crisis, and the Vegas Golden Knights are no different.
It has been two weeks since the NHL and the rest of the sporting world went on lockdown, and Vegas Golden Knights players are trying to find ways to fight the boredom just as us mere mortals are doing.
There is no clear sign yet as to when sports and life in general will return to normal so, for now, it is all about trying to make the best of a very scary and trying situation.

While we remain at home in isolation trying to work, homeschool our kids or just simply trying to find things to keep ourselves occupied, hockey players are very much in the same boat.
So, we thought it would be a good idea to trawl through social media and give you an update on what some members of the Golden Knights are getting up to.
Alec Martinez – Bored as Hell
Well, it is safe to assume judging by his Twitter account that Golden Knights defenseman Alec Martinez is already bored out of his mind.
Because, scrolling through Twitter on Thursday, the below Tweet from Martinez popped up on my timeline and it was, hmmm, interesting to say the very least.
Whether bored or just dead keen to inform us all of his bowel movements, we’d advise Martinez to check out the Tiger King documentary on Netflix in order to stop talking about gas.
Please.
Marc-Andre Fleury – DIY King
What does a future Hall of Famer do while hockey is on hiatus?
The answer appears simple – do DIY!
Marc-Andre Fleury was snapped carrying out some home improvements by his wife on Instagram, looking nearly as good with a power tool as he does stopping pucks.
And, whether he likes it or not, we have a funny feeling Fleury is probably going to get a lot done around the house while we wait for hockey to return.
Nate Schmidt – The Man of the People
Nate Schmidt seems one of the nicest and coolest guys in all of sports, let alone hockey, and he just seems the kind of guy you would love to hang with.
And he has certainly been doing his best to keep Golden Knights fans entertained during this current hiatus.
From sharing his painting tips to taking part in the global toilet paper challenge, Schmidt really had himself a day on Thursday.
On what was supposed to Opening Day in Major League Baseball, the defenseman regaled us with tales about his beloved Minnesota Twins, before channelling his favorite player Bryce Harper by taking part in some batting practice outside.
It was an entertaining watch and if you need cheering up during these uncertain times, you could do a lot worse than follow Nate Schmidt on Instagram.
It is comedy gold.
William Karlsson – Rib-Tastic
Everyone’s favorite Wild Bill is actually more like us than we first thought.
Because, in his latest Instagram Story offering, the forward could be seen about to tuck into some delicious-looking ribs which we were incredibly jealous of.
And now we’re hungry.
Chandler Stephenson – Singing The Blues
Chandler Stephenson is doing the best thing right now and that’s hanging at home in Vegas, while man’s best friend happily sings along to music in the background.
Pretty neat if you ask us.
Tomas Nosek – Father-Son Time
Being stuck at home means we do get more family time and forward Tomas Nosek is certainly taking full advantage by bonding with his adorable baby son, Patrik.
Robin Lehner – Being Himself
Robin Lehner’s nickname is the Panda and it is a moniker that he has fully embraced throughout his career.
So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise then that his last Tweet featured a Gif of one Panda flipping another one over his shoulder, with Lehner captioning the Tweet ‘Quarantine Life.’
Never change, Robin Lehner.
We’ll check back in next week to see what else members of the Vegas Golden Knights have been up to, but we would love to know what you are doing during this current hiatus too!
