It is another day without any sports or the Vegas Golden Knights to keep us entertained, and it is fair to suggest that a few of us may well be starting to climb the walls.

With the sports world and a large portion of the population in lockdown in order to combat the coronavirus crisis, we have had to get used to the Vegas Golden Knights being on hiatus.

It hasn’t been easy with many of us clinging to sports for comfort, but we will get through this together one day at a time.

More from Vegas Hockey Knight

I promise.

We have plenty of exciting content in the pipeline and yesterday we looked at the things you can still do in order to stay connected to the Golden Knights.

Well, today we are going to let you know about some of the best hockey content out there right now that should keep you entertained while we are all in self-isolation.

Let’s delve in…

TV

There is a bevy of fantastic hockey content on TV and streaming devices right now, ranging from favorite movies to old games and highlights.

Mark Messier of the New York Rangers talks to the media after scoring an empty net goal to pass Gordie Howe and become the 2nd all time scorer in the NHL against the Dallas Stars on November 4, 2003 at MSG.

nhl.com – The NHL launched a fantastic service last week called ‘Pause Binge,’ which features a plethora of highlights and memorable moments from both the recent past and from the league’s vintage years.

Being a New York Rangers fan, I’ve watched Mark Messier‘s 500th goal a few times already, while there is a load of classic Stanley Cup Final games to sink your teeth into.

Also on nhl.com is a load of mic’d up content coupled with some fascinating GoPro features, while you can also watch full-length recaps of any Golden Knights game this year.

There’s a lot to choose from.

NHL On NBC – With no games at the moment, NBC is doing a stellar job of keeping the hockey coverage coming.

Despite the fact that they showed a repeat of THAT Game 7 against the San Jose Sharks on Monday, which we’ll forgive them for, they have a plethora of superb throwback content throughout this week.

Today, and as part of NBC’s Hockey Week In America celebration, they are showing some classic Playoff Rivals contests, including Game 3 between the Penguins and the Flyers in 2012.

Wednesday we will be treated to classic outdoor games, cup clinchers will be shown on Thursday, Playoff Heroes will get their moment in the spotlight on Friday, you can feast on classic battles between Sid and Ovi on Saturday and then on Sunday NBC will show Game 7 OT games.

NBC is also doing a fantastic job of reliving each moment on Twitter, and you can follow them here in order to satisfy your hockey cravings.

Disney+ – All you need to know; The Mighty Ducks.

Go visit the latest streaming service and loose yourself in some golden hockey nostalgia.
