1. Pacioretty to work the goalies

Although Max Pacioretty won’t officially be taking part in any of the events during the NHL All-Star Game Skills competition tonight, the forward will be on hand during the Bud Light NHL Save Streak.

During this event, the goalies in attendance will be tasked with making saves on opposing division players who will be trying to score on breakaways.

All 36 skaters will go until a goal is scored, and the goalie with the longest save streak will win the event, while there will be a sudden death “Goalie Goals” round if there is a tie, which sounds like a lot of fun.

Given that Pacioretty boasts silky hands and a high hockey IQ, this event should be fairly easy for the forward who will have plenty of energy given that he’s not taking part in any of the other skill competitions.

With that in mind, coupled with his wicked release, we are pretty confident that Pacioretty will wreak havoc on any goalie he faces in the NHL Save Streak event.
