We are rapidly approaching the Trade Deadline and, as a result, teams including the Vegas Golden Knights are starting to take stock of what they have got and what they need.

With the 2020 NHL All-Star Break taking place in St. Louis this weekend, the next major event on the calendar will be the Trade Deadline, a crucial marker for the Vegas Golden Knights and the rest of the league.

As such, rumors are already flying around the NHL landscape and they will no doubt intensify the closer we get to Feb. 24.

Tony DeAngelo, who has been ripping it up for the New York Rangers with 37 points (12 goals, 25 assists) in 47 games, is a player we have suggested could be a target for the Golden Knights, although it is unlikely Vegas will be able to muster up a package that would interest the Blueshirts.

Following the bombshell move that saw Peter DeBoer replace Gerard Gallant as Head Coach of this franchise, could San Jose Sharks defenseman Brenden Dillon be a potential trade the Golden Knights explore?

Of course, DeBoer was the Head Coach of the Sharks for five seasons and knows Dillon incredibly well, so there is that obvious link out of the way.

There are also a plethora of other deep-rooted reasons as to why Dillon wearing a Vegas Golden Knights jersey makes sense.

And we are going to explore both the positives and the negatives to a potential Brenden Dillon trade for the Vegas Golden Knights…
