2. Another big night for Theodore

We did a piece on Shea Theodore recently and his path to becoming one of the best young defensemen on the game.

Well, he’s not slowing down any time soon.

Because, when his team needed a hero, Theodore stepped up to the plate and recorded a three-point night.

All three points were assists, including a secondary helper on Reilly Smith’s goal that sent the contest to overtime.

It was another dominant display from Theodore who has morphed into the best blueliner on the Golden Knights roster.

He is an offensive juggernaut and he is trusted by the coaching staff, again leading all Vegas skaters in total ice time with a whopping 28:43 minutes against Montreal.

Through 51 games, Theodore has six goals and 25 assists for 31 points, with 11 of those points coming on the power play, and the defenseman has now tied his previous career-high in assists.

It has been an incredible year for Theodore so far and it is scary to think how much better he could be if he had some legitimate help on that blueline.
