1. Stastny the hockey guy

Just call Paul Stastny Action Man because boy was he at the thick of it in Montreal on Saturday.

Back on the second line between Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone, which is statistically one of the best lines in the NHL according to MoneyPuck.com, Stastny had himself a game.

Stastny made it a one-goal game in the second period after forcing a rebound past Carey Price, before tallying the primary helper on Reilly Smith’s goal that sent the game to overtime.

After struggling for much of the regular season, Stastny has began to hot up and he now has five points (two goals, three assists) in his last five outings.

But the two-point night will probably get overclouded by something else that happened in the game.

Because, deep in overtime, Stastny took a puck straight to the face and, honestly, it was like a scene out of a Michael Myers Halloween film.

There was blood gushing out of Stastny’s mouth all over the ice and onto his white road jersey, an image that resembled more of a murder scene than a hockey game.

And, if that wasn’t enough, Stastny was then seen picking up his own teeth off the ice before going back to the bench.

True hockey guy.
