My Three Stars of the Game

  1. William Karlsson recorded a multi-point night for the third straight game with two goals and an assist against the Calgary Flames. He also made a hell of a defensive play that led to his first goal, and the forward has been on a tear for the Knights with 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in his last 11 games.
  2. Nate Schmidt had just one assist coming into the game but he finished the night with five after recording a four-point night with four helpers. It was a hell of a game for the defenseman who looks to now be firing on all cylinders after what was a slow start following a lower body injury.
  3. Marc-Andre Fleury completes the list after clinching his second shutout of the year with a 34-save performance. Fleury came up clutch with a plethora of big saves and the future Hall of Famer can be relied upon to always produce the goods. He played a key role in this crucial victory for the Golden Knights

Looking Ahead

Last night’s game was the first of a four-game homestand for the Vegas Golden Knights, which continues against the struggling Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday, before the red hot San Jose Sharks and the Edmonton Oilers visit T-Mobile Arena later in the week.
