3.) Mark Stone

Before Mark Stone was injured on November 6 against the Edmonton Oilers, he was riding high. The Captain scored six goals and 15 assists in 13 games, making him one of the most reliable pieces for the Vegas Golden Knights.

Once he suffered his unfortunate lower-body injury, the peanut gallery roasted him with the usual "LTIR" jokes. The truth is, he was never placed on it after that November 6 injury.

Still, Stone is a valuable two-way player who has a similar purpose to Jack Eichel. He makes plays happen for the Golden Knights, setting up his linemates for "golden" opportunities while crashing the net.

The funny thing is Stone's still on pace to flirt with 100 points by season's end. He's set to score 27 goals and 68 assists in 59 games, putting together an offensive clinic for the Golden Knights. If he returns to that top line spot on Eichel's right wing, watch out. That could be an "excellent" pairing that devastates the league.
