Pucks to the face. Failed challenges. Incredible comebacks. The Stanley Cup Final has had all of these things so far, making it absolutely amusing to watch. Just look at the ratings and you'll see how the Vegas Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes proved everyone wrong.

Yeah, you thought it'd be boring, didn't you? Well, my friend, life has a funny way of working our lives. It can humble us when we get overconfident and can also leave us wondering what the heck just happened. That's no different with the first two Stanley Cup Final games, which has been absolute cinema.

Who knows what will pop up between both teams in the upcoming week(s)? Expect more of the same thrilling games that come down to the wire, leaving more people to watch an incredible series. Hey, man, hockey is cool now. It's best to get on the bandwagon and go along for the ride.

Therefore, we must run it back with Ben Huffman of Cardiac Cane and see what has been the most noteworthy thing in the Stanley Cup Final. Who stood out on both sides? What's the one thing that both teams must watch for as the series progresses?

What were your thoughts on the first two games?

Ben: Anyone who thought the series would be boring is walking that back after those two games. Two evenly matched teams going at it in two very entertaining games.

Who stood out for the Carolina Hurricanes so far?

Shayne Gostisbehere has been very good to start the series. Picked up the big goal in Game 1 and helped the power play come to life in Game 2. I was also encouraged by what I saw from the Canes' top line in Thursday's game.

What did the Golden Knights do well that could be a problem for the Hurricanes?

The thing about Vegas is that they can beat you in so many different ways. In Game 1, they out-forechecked the Canes and beat them at their own game. In Game 2, Brett Howden carved up the Canes' defense. They can also give you no space to operate in the offensive zone. It took 50 minutes for the Hurricanes to adjust.
