What if the Czech Republic and Russia had 4 Nations teams, Golden Knights edition

Let's assume that Russia is on its best behavior and the Czech Republic gets included in a future 4 Nations Face-Off. Here are three Golden Knights that would fit on the rosters.

Ivan Barbashev, Russia

While Ivan Barbashev has been cold since he returned from an upper-body injury (he has four assists since his return on January 11), he's still been a proficient winger with the Vegas Golden Knights. Like Pavel Dorofeyev, he's developed an acumen for playing shifty hockey. Like Dorofeyev, he can cruise down the ice with incredible handles and speed, making him a scoring threat. That's why he has 15 goals and 19 assists this season.

But there's a slight difference between Barbashev and Dorofeyev. The former St. Louis Blues forward doesn't shy away from playing physical hockey. In fact, he embraces it with 988 total hits in his career. This season, the 29-year-old has 83 hits to his name, making him the muscle on the Golden Knights's top line.

He would protect his linemates on Team Russia like he does Jack Eichel, wearing down his opponents with ease. The forward would also add a better element to the transition game, benefitting from an excellent forecheck. Given that there are plenty of Russian players in the NHL who do both things extraordinarily well, he would fit right in.
